A Community Conversation about the Minnesota Health Plan on WTIP North Shore Community Radio in Grand Marais, Minnesota | WTIP.org
TONIGHT | Thursday, April 25 at 7:00pm CT, tune into AMPERS member station WTIP North Shore Community Radio on 90.7FM or stream the progran at WTIP.org to listen to a Community Conversation about the Statewide Single Payer Minnesota Health Plan.
Tonight's program will be part one of a three-part series called THE FUTURE OF HEALTH FOR MINNESOTANS.
Celebrated Labor Organizer and Health Care for All Minnesota leader Rose Roach and veteran Minnesota State Senator John Marty will discuss how the Single Payer Minnesota Health Plan will help individual, household and business health by removing barriers to healthcare access, while streamlining administrative waste and improving health outcomes. AMPERS COO and WTIP contributor Kimberly Soenen will moderate the hour-long conversation.
Part one will examine the Statewide Single Payer Minnesota Health Plan (MHP). The second show will compare the MHP to the Minnesota Public Option. The third show will compare the Commercial Health Insurance industry’s Denial of Care business model to the other health programs being proposed.
Shorter interviews will be conducted with citizens living on the North Shore throughout the series run about the changes residents would like to see implemented in how we all access, and pay for, healthcare. Select interviews will be held with citizens from The Twin Cities and Greater Minnesota, as well.
Stream it from anywhere coast-to-coast at WTIP.org or tune in tonight at 90.7FM on the dial.
